1. The short version

We keep this simple. The Jackpot Guide uses only the cookies and local storage it needs to run — to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not sell your data.

2. What we use, and why

Essential / sign-in.When you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase) stores a session so you don’t have to log in on every page. Without it, signing in wouldn’t work. These are strictly necessary and can’t be turned off while you’re using an account.

Preferences.We store small bits of information on your device (such as your home area and the disciplines you follow) so the app can show you what’s relevant. This stays on your device and helps personalize your feed.

3. What we don't use

We don’t run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add product analytics in the future to understand how the app is used, we’ll update this notice first and keep it privacy-respecting.

4. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking the essential sign-in cookie will prevent you from staying logged in. Clearing preference storage simply resets those choices — you can set them again in the app.
