Deleting your account and data
Last updated: August 12, 2026
Delete your account from the app
You can delete your account and all of your data yourself, at any time, from inside The Jackpot Guide app. You do not need to contact us first.
- Open The Jackpot Guide app and make sure you are signed in.
- Tap the menu, then Profile.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm when asked. This cannot be undone.
If you have a paid producer membership, deleting your account cancels that subscription first, so you are not billed again.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently erases:
- Your account, profile details, and sign-in credentials.
- Your saved jackpots, the producers you follow, and your event preferences.
- If you are a producer: your producer profile, your event and accommodation listings, and your connected Facebook Page — including the stored access token for that Page.
Disconnecting a Facebook Page does not delete anything on Facebook itself. Any posts already published to your Facebook Page belong to that Page and remain there; you can delete them on Facebook.
Disconnecting Facebook without deleting your account
If you only want to revoke our access to your Facebook Page, open the app, go to Profile, and tap Disconnectunder Facebook. We delete the stored Page token immediately. You can also remove our access from Facebook directly, under Settings → Business Integrations.
Request deletion by email
If you can no longer sign in — or you would rather we did it for you — email info@thejackpotguide.com from the address on your account, with the subject Delete my account. We will verify the request and confirm by email once the deletion is complete, normally within 30 days.
Records we may keep
We may retain a limited record of transactions where the law requires it — for example, payment and tax records for a producer membership. These records are kept only as long as required and are not used to contact you or to rebuild your profile. Everything else is erased.
